Private-beta requests stay private.
GCD collects only the information needed to qualify demand, prioritize company-register coverage and respond to the beta request you make.
What we collect
When you explicitly save a request, GCD stores the company or portfolio query, jurisdiction, work email, organization, selected access methods and products, volume range, price response, source-page attribution and exact document context. We classify the email domain as business, educational, consumer or disposable; we do not reject personal email providers.
Anonymous funnel measurement and abuse prevention
Page and search counters use a random browser identifier, country code and match state. They do not store the raw company query. The raw query is stored only after you explicitly save a fulfilment request. Request creation also uses a one-way technical fingerprint derived from network and browser metadata to enforce a daily cap; the fingerprint is not used for marketing and is purged after its short abuse-prevention window.
Purpose and sharing
GCD uses this data to operate the private beta, prevent abuse, contact you about the request and decide which connectors and capabilities to build. Search histories and requests are not published or sold. Cloudflare provides the hosting and D1 storage infrastructure.
Retention and deletion
Beta requests receive a deletion date 90 days after creation. A daily automated job purges expired requests and their events. Anonymous funnel counters are retained for up to 180 days. After completing the form, you can delete the request immediately using its deletion control. You may also contact privacy@getcompanydata.com with the request ID.
Communication choices
Submitting a request permits communication about that request and private-beta access. It does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Marketing consent, if introduced, will remain a separate choice.
